
King Von (real nickname Dayvon Daquan Bennett) was born on the 9th of August of 1994 in Chicago, Illinois, to Walter Bennett and Taesha. There were three brothers and two sisters from his maternal grandmother. His father had six half-siblings. Since his father was spending so long in prison, Bennett was mostly taken care of by his mom. He was killed by his father and taken to the hospital when Bennett was only 11. In the age of 16, Bennett did his first period in prison in what was only the beginning of a long series of encounters with law enforcement. After his release, Bennett received college credits from South Suburban College, South Holland, Illinois. Then, after more legal challenges, Bennett tried to make a comeback and pursue his music career. The band often collaborated along with Lil Durk. A posthumous album, "What It Means to be King" which was released on March 20, 2022.
