Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone (pronounced [di:pIka p@dUko:ne or [pa:dUkoBorn 5 January 1986) is an Indian actress, who is primarily in Hindi films. Her awards include the three Filmfare Awards. She is the highest paid actors. In lists for the country's most renowned people; Time named her one of the top 100 influential people around the globe in 2018. In 2018, she received with the TIME100 Impact Award in 2022. Padukone is the daughter of the player of badminton Prakash Padukone, was born in Copenhagen and grew up in Bangalore. When she was a teen she was a badminton player in national level championships but left her sport to become a fashion model. In 2006, she made her debut as an actor in the Kannada film Aishwarya. Padukone was paired with Shah Rukh Khan a dual part for Om Shanti Om, her debut Bollywood film, which was awarded the Filmfare Award as Best Female Debut.
